Jefferson City votes on Casino proposition today!!!

As several municipalities hold elections today for Mayor, City Council, and a host of local propositions, much of the attention in Mid-Missouri is being focused on the Capital City of  Jefferson City and a vote to change the city charter to allow casino gambling.

While turnout is important on this over-cast and rainy day, the enthusiasm and growing support of Citizens Supporting Integrity (CSI), who are leading the opposition to the casino propositions, seemed poised for a successful election day.

There have been several articles about this issue and CSI has done an excellent job of providing economic and other source-cited evidence to persuade residents of Jefferson City to vote NO-NO on proposition B and C today.
